While low level inflammation is a typical bodily response, chronic inflammation plays a key role in the development of long-term health conditions like cancer, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis , and autoimmune disorders Notably, anthocyanin and resveratrol compounds in grapes have been linked to powerful anti-inflammatory properties 51 , Research shows that both compounds can suppress the expression of inflammatory markers like tumor necrosis factor-alpha TNF-alpha and interleukin-6 IL-6 60 , Grapes contain compounds with anti-inflammatory effects, which may in turn protect against chronic diseases.
