She found a local restaurant who was willing to let her use their off-hours to produce her nutty cups, filed the paperwork to form a business, and left her job. Initially, it was a struggle. She went to an industry trade show and was overwhelmed. She started feeling depressed and discouraged, and she found entrepreneurship to be very lonely.

While I know that entrepreneurship is difficult and that working for yourself is not always fun, I was a little surprised to hear this from Jessie. She is so positive and she literally sings while she works. Then, she heard about a food entrepreneurship class at HBK Incubates, and decided to enroll.

Full disclosure: I work at HBK Incubates, and it is where I met Jessie! During the class, she realized she knew a lot more about running a business than she thought she did. As her support system grew, so did her confidence. There is a large lace panel the climbing vines running up the top of the foot and front of the leg. The back of the leg is a garter stitch ribbing that resembles a trellis for the vines to cling to. This pattern takes you through Riptide Socks. The Riptide socks are knit from the cuff down.

The cable pattern runs down the outside of the leg and foot in a riptide-like appearance. The pattern is written to be unisex in terms of sizing and style.

Snake Charmer Socks. The undulating cable-like lace pattern emerging from the basket weave ribbing is reminiscent of charmed snakes rising up out of a basket. Scattered Leaves Socks. This sock pattern is from TheKnitter.

Judy had a custom colorway of Cherry Tree Hill Supersock Merino dyed up for the pattern, but it would also work in one of the standard colorways. Cobblestone Walk Socks.
